BioBlitz 2010 -- May 21st and 22nd, 2010

Announcing the 2nd Annual BioBlitz -- a FREE biodiversity event!

Bristol’s second annual BioBlitz, a 30-hour race against the clock to find as many species of wildlife as possible in a certain area, is back in Bristol this year on May 21-22nd at Blaise Castle Estate. Come out and help us beat last year's total of 637 unique species found in the Ashton Court Estate.

Bristol will be one of the first events this year as part of a larger National BioBlitz Programme hosted in over 13 different cities throughout the UK in celebration of the International Year of Biodiversity!

A key aspect of the programme was our media team, made up of professional media representatives from a range of Bristol organisations. We gathered over 2000 hits over the 30 hours from across the world.
